Clay Zone with Christine Jacobson
Come play with clay! Students will learn the basics of hand building with low fire clay including pinch, coil and slab construction - a wonderful way to explore the earthenware medium! Ages: 7-12, Duration: 8 weeks.

Private Music Lesson’s
Private music lessons now available for children over 5! Options include Violin, Cello & Hand Drumming.

Ceramics, Print & Papermaking with Christine Jacobson
Beginner, intermediate and advanced classes available in all three disciplines for both teens and adults. Perfect for a girls night out or community social!

Mommy & Me: Start Communication Early with Alyson Hannan, NCC
Spend quality time with your child while learning interactive communication methods that work best for you. Sessions are 5 weeks long; each week will focus on a different communication technique.

Quilting & Knitting with Katherine Pope
The perfect opportunity to learn a new craft or improve on your existing quilting or knitting skills! You provide materials we will provide the lessons for only $5 per person, per hour.

Felting with Julia Watson
This has been a very popular class in the past! Learn to needle-felt in a one day workshop and bring home enough materials to continue creating at home!

Seeds to Grow On Garden Camp
AGES: 2-5 years (ages 4+ may be dropped off)
WHEN: May 24th - 28th
TIME: 10am-12pm
COST: $65 for the full week or $15 per drop in
Celebrate Spring with us! We will be both indoors and out during this week of garden exploration and education. Each day of camp will include aspects of music, movement, gardening and art...of course!

Fun in the Forest with a National Park Ranger!
AGES: 3-8 years (ages 4+ may be dropped off)
WHEN: July 26th - 30th
TIME: 10am-12pm
COST: $65 for the full week or $15 per drop in
Explore the forests surrounding Mount Tom joined by a Park Ranger from Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park! Camp participants will earn their Junior Ranger Badges at the end of the week. Each day of camp will include aspects of music, movement and art.

VINS Peeps Camps at Purple Crayon

Through crafts, games, stories, and outdoor explorations, campers learn about the creatures that live under the bark of a dead tree, below the ripples of a pond and in the highest branches of the trees.

Explore the amazing cycles that occur in our natural word. From caterpillars to butterflies, tadpoles to frogs and seeds to trees, come see how we are all connected!

Introduction to Drawing & Illustration

COST: $65 per student for 10 contact hours
...we aren't talking about drawing wicker chairs, bowls of fruit or teddy bears here!!

Mixed Media Melody!

DATES: Monday through Friday, April 19th-23rd
TIME: 1pm-3pm
AGES: 7-12 years
COST: $65 per student for 10 contact hours
Students will explore a variety of materials and basic techniques involving clay, paper-crafts, printmaking and painting. A great sampler class of simple projects using varied media.

Rock Tools, Aspects of Rock Camp - Camp 1 & 2
with guitarist Chris Schoelen, B.A. in Music
DATES: Monday through Friday, April 19th-23rd
TIME: 9am-1pm ( Camp #1 for younger students) and 2-6pm (Camp #2 for older students)
COST: $200 per student
Camp #1 is aimed at younger students and will focus on playing covers of the students choosing. Camp #2 is for older, more experienced students and will focus on songwriting and jamming in an ensemble. For more information and full details visit www.uvrockschool.org.
