Fun in the Forest with a National Park Ranger!
AGES: 3-8 years (ages 4+ may be dropped off)
WHEN: July 26th - 30th
TIME: 10am-12pm
COST: $65 for the full week or $15 per drop in
Explore the forests surrounding Mount Tom joined by a Park Ranger from Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park! Camp participants will earn their Junior Ranger Badges at the end of the week. Each day of camp will include aspects of music, movement and art.

AGES: 4-12 years
WHEN: August 9th - 13th
TIME: 9am-1pm or 9am-3pm
A project driven day camp for ages 4-12. Various activities with stimulating curriculum including art, kitchen science and fair play; plus much more!

VINS Peeps Camps at Purple Crayon
AGES: 4-6 years
COST: $150 per week/per session

WHEN: August 16th - 20th
TIME: 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm
Explore the amazing cycles that occur in our natural word. From caterpillars to butterflies, tadpoles to frogs and seeds to trees, come see how we are all connected!

July 17th
2nd Annual Summer Fest at Purple Crayon!
10am-4pm
FREE, Donations are appreciated
Join us for a celebration of art, music and birds! There will be a silent auction of original hand-painted bird houses, live music by the Swing Peepers (10am-12pm) and Bow Thayer (2-4pm), bird focused art projects; a live bird show courtesy of VINS at 1pm; plus the option to build & decorate your own bird houses for a small fee!
July 17th Event Schedule:
Art projects, face-painting, bird house making station, egg races happening all day!
10am - kick off!
10am - 3pm - Silent Auction of Bird Feeders
10:15am - 12pm Music by the Swing Peepers (local children’s band with a fun interactive style)
11am - 1pm Food is served (can be purchased for a small fee)
1pm - 1:45pm: VINS live raptor show
2pm - 4pm: Music by Bow Thayer (local music for all ages)
3pm Auction Ends and auction winners are announced
4pm See you next year!
Interested in painting a bird house for auction? Contact Purple Crayon for details or to set up a time to drop by: 802.457.3500. Feeders are FREE to decorate, May 3rd-July 2nd, so bring a friend and get ready to get creative! All artists will have first bid on their own feeders at the day of the event.
